Good Choices by Bride and Groom Create Idyllic Wedding Day

20160722_171547It was a hot, steamy day for an outdoor wedding at the Henry Ford. Keeping the focus on the meaning of the day, Devin and Jesse chose to put their guests comfort ahead of their original plans for an outdoor wedding and moved the ceremony inside the museum. We played “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, “Cheek to Cheek”, “Raise Your Glass” and others for the seating of the guests. Connie of the Henry Ford assisted us with cues and we played “Your Song” for the mothers seating. The bridal party wore navy blue dresses carried dark and light pink bouquets that created an elegant look for the wedding party as they processed to “The Way You Look Tonight”.  The officiant was Jesse’s Great Uncle and both Devin and Jesse’s mothers read a poetic reading during the ceremony.  From our first conversation, Jesse expressed a strong interest in having “At Last” by Etta James played for her processional.  At her request, we also played the final verse “for you are mine” for their recessional before moving into “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.  It was clear that the day was well planned by the couple and enjoyed by their guests. Best wishes to Jesse and Devin!
