Irish Oaks Farm Provides the Perfect Blend of “Country Chic” with Excellent Service

IMG_1859There is a new venue offering wedding services in the Metamora area that is sure to be a success. Irish Oaks Farm is a working cattle farm that now offers wedding and banquet facilities. It was our first time playing at Irish Oaks and we were impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, staging of the cocktail hour/banquet area and the overall beauty of the farm. Irish Oaks staff member, John, was exceedingly helpful in assisting us with the set up of our canopy by the ceremony location and finding us chairs. We’re often left up to our own devices so it’s worth a “thank you” when the venue makes our job just a bit easier.
Kelsey and Frankie planned a beautiful day. In keeping with the venue, they chose many Irish songs for their ceremony along with romantic ones as well. Kelsey and her father walked down the aisle to the movie theme “The Ludlows.” The newly married couple recessed to “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve.
The cocktail hour was held in a beautiful new building. We tucked ourselves in a corner and played songs by Journey, Coldplay, Elton John, Postal Service, Bruno Mars, Lady Antebellum, Led Zepplin, Dave Matthews, Adele, Christina Perri and more. IMG_1857
The reception was held in a converted barn complete with chandeliers. We have provided music for over sixty weddings this year and our experience has shown that “country or rustic chic” is a very popular wedding theme. Irish Oaks Farms is sure to great success with its great service, efficient layout and farm vistas. IMG_1856
