Aboretum Offers A Tropical Setting for Wedding on a Winter’s Day

Congratulations to Melissa and Josh! They were married in the Nichols Arboretum at Matthaei Botanical Gardens by officiant Brad Philip. Despite the brisk weather outside, it was a tropical paradise inside the arboretum. The maid of honor and flower girl wore a vibrant purple and carried white and purple tulips. Linda Neely and the staff from the Matthaei Gardens were helpful as always with cues, chairs and timing. They make it a pleasure to be there each and every time. The couple chose “Here Comes the Sun”, “Don’t Stop Believin’”,” What a Wonderful World” and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” for the seating of their guests but kept it traditional for their ceremony. Melissa processed to “Kanon in D” and we played Bach’s “Brandenburg Concerto” for their recessional. We wish them the best in the years to come!
