A True August Day for Wedding Ceremony at Botanical Gardens

Matthaei Botanical Gardens was the site for Molly and Ray’s wedding last weekend.  It was a hot day for the ceremony, which was held in the Gateway Gardens.  Parasols were provided for the guests to beat the heat and better enjoy the ceremony.  The bridal party wore soft pink dresses and carried pink and white roses which suited the summer day.  Molly chose a unique piece for her processional, A River Flows In You by Yiruma , which we performed as she walked in with her father.  Janet, a friend of the couple, sang a lovely version of Ave Maria.  One of the unsung heroes of every wedding is the coordinator.  Kelly Ann, venue coordinator for Matthaei Botanical Gardens, is one of the best we’ve encountered.  She was personable, very helpful and highly organized.  It was a delight to work with such a professional and we’re looking forward to working with her again later this month.  We send Molly and Ray our best wishes for a happily ever after!
