Wedding at Sycamore Hills Beats the Heat with Morning Ceremony

Congratulations to Michelle and Roger who were married at the gazebo of Sycamore Hills Golf Club.  They chose to hold their wedding in the morning to avoid the heat of the afternoon.  It was a wise decision considering the heat we’ve experienced this summer in Michigan.  For a sentimental touch, the couple asked that we play Michelle by the Beatles during the seating of the guests.  Michelle’s son, Brayden, played a special role in the ceremony as ring bearer and also participated in the unity sand ceremony.  Another personal moment occurred when a friend read an excerpt from Michelle’s favorite story, “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.   Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour inside where we played an hour of contemporary music.  As you can see from the pictures, the couple had a wonderful dessert table which included a clever groom’s cake. Congratulations again to Michelle, Roger and Brayden as they begin their lives together as a family.
