Pine Knob Mansion Offers Great View and Summer Breezes for Couple’s Wedding

It was a gorgeous breezy day on the top of Pine Knob for Edward and Jennine’s wedding day at the Mansion. Once a family estate, the Mansion, a 19 room English Manor, sits on the highest natural point in Southeastern Michigan and is surrounded by exquisite manicured gardens. It’s Great Hall with arched ceilings and stained glass windows offers magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset. The couple chose a variety of unique songs for their ceremony including Debussy’s Clair De Lune, Village Ghetto by Stevie Wonder, Moon River, I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis, When I’m 64 by the Beatles and Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros. The last piece was a new one for us! The bridal party wore silvery gray dresses and carried bouquets of flowers in muted colors while processing to Bach’s Air on G string. We noticed that Jennine chose not to wear a veil but instead had an elegant hair piece. We all thought it was a wonderful idea that complimented her hairstyle and dress. We send our best wishes to Edward and Jennine and thank them for the honor of being a part of their wedding day.
