Wedding and Rain at Greystone Golf Club and Banquet Center in Romeo

Congratulations to Meghan and Chris on their wedding this past weekend at Greystone Golf Club and Banquet Center in Romeo. Virginia of Design Studio CM2 did a phenomenal job with the floral design on the outside arbor. We were awed by the beauty of the flowers and her unique presentation. The bridal party wore beautiful gowns in an array of summer colors similar to those found in the floral displays. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate for Meghan and Chris and they did not have a back up plan. The rain moved in and made it almost impossible for us to play. Fortunately, we did bring a small canopy and were able to provide the music for the ceremony itself. The couple chose all popular music including Wind Beneath My Wings for the bridal processional, Love Story by Taylor Swift for the sand ceremony and Don’t Stop Believing for the recessional. This unfortunate situation highlights the need for a back up venue in the event of poor weather, an issue especially important here in Michigan. Our concerns are for the safety of the instruments, and our ability to provide quality music. While the weather was not ideal, Meghan and Chris were surrounded by friends, family and beautiful flowers to mark the beginning of their married life. We wish the very best as they begin life as husband and wife.
