Wedding and Cocktails at the Village Club in Bloomfield Hills

Congratulations to Rachel and Aidan on their wedding Saturday at the Village Club in Bloomfield Hills. In the presence of friends and family, the couple recited their vows under a beautiful canopy or chuppah intertwined with white roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies. The families of both Rachel and Aidan along with the bridal party and groomsmen all processed to Pachelbel’s Canon while Rachel chose a personal favorite, “Here Comes The Sun” by the Beatles, for her bridal processional. A special thank-you to Andrea Solomon for her wonderful work coordinating the ceremony. Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour while we played the music of Michael Buble, Cole Porter, Harry Connick Jr., and Duke Ellington. The reception was held at the Village Club as well. Purchased in 1961 by The Village Woman’s Club Foundation, The Village Club is a gracious and inviting place for a wedding. In a touching gesture, the newly wedded couple made a donation to the Matt Lash Memorial Scholarship at Kent State Law School on behalf of their guests and in honor of their wedding day. Our best wishes are extended to Rachel and Aidan as they begin their life together.
