Pegasus Garden Wedding at Meadowbrook Hall

Congratulations to Yiesung and Jin and their wedding at the Pegasus Garden of Meadowbrook Hall. Often referred to as one of America’s “castles,” the 110-room, 88,000-square-foot mansion is currently ranked fourth on the list of Largest Historic Homes in the United States. Traditionally known as the Breakfast Garden because of its location off the Breakfast Room, this Pegasus Garden is enclosed with brick walls and provides a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony. Despite a brief shower, the wedding proceeded as planned in the garden. Pastor Kim spoke eloquently about the importance of the presence of God within a marriage. The bride’s mother and sister wore traditional South Korean dresses which added a unique beauty to the ceremony. The bridal party wore lovely black dresses that contrasted with the white hydrangeas in their bouquets. Yiesung chose the traditional Wagner Bridal Chorus and Wedding March for her processional and recessional. Following the ceremony, the guests moved to the terrace for a cocktail hour while we serenaded them with a wide variety of music. We wish Yiesung and Jin the very best as they begin their new life together.
